FIRST NATION WATER EMERGENCIES

• Water emergencies are not frequent, but when they occur, would you know what to do?
• Notify Northern Waterworks at 1-866-727-2424, we notify INAC, and Health Canada EHO’s
• Notify your community leadership

Emergency situations can quickly develop into a critical situation if not address and rectified in a timely manner. It is important that emergencies are reported immediately.

Northern Waterworks can assist you through verbal troubleshooting over the phone. If required we can also dispatch an emergency response team directly to your community.
 

• A First Response Specialist will call you back shortly and provide you with direct assistance
• First Response services are free of charge when approved and are funded 100% by INAC
